Playa del Rey II
A busy family of four wanted amazing interiors to match the unique architectural look of this custom home, and to come in on budget. The result is a dramatic blend of materials and texture. The exterior tower of stone cladding has a woven, structured pattern. The office bathroom walls are covered in tile that looks like wallpaper and in the powder room a mirror floats above the smooth quartz sink. Light pours in from a skylight above the island and highlights leathered granite on the island and bar counters. In the master bath organic shapes mix with right angles. A soaking tub and curve in the floor tile create balance with angular plumbing fixtures and lighting.
